How is Kojic Dipalmitate different from Kojic Acid ?
Kojic dipalmitate is a more stable, oil-soluble, and generally a more effective skin-brightening agent than its water-soluble parent, kojic acid. While kojic acid offers direct, fast-acting, temporary-lightening but is unstable and prone to color change, kojic dipalmitate is a lipid-soluble, highly stable ester that temporarily inhibits melanin production for lasting and noticeable effects and integrates well into cosmetic formulas.
These effects work for people struggling with dark spots, acne scars and uneven tones in their skin. This product is not meant for everyday use. It’s recommended use is 2-3 times weekly. It’s also recommended that you cut or break the bar into about 4 or more pieces and keep all portions in a dry, cool area out of direct sunlight to maintain its effectiveness.
